Macquarie invests in Polish logistics for German BVK | New
Macquarie Asset Management has finalized the acquisition of a logistics real estate portfolio in Poland on behalf of the German pension fund Bayerische Versorgungskammer (BVK).
Macquarie said it bought the end asset in Hillwood and 7R’s € 190 million portfolio of 12 logistics facilities.
The fully let portfolio of 276,000 m2 includes assets located in the logistics parks of Hillwood Marki, 7R Park Kokotow and 7R Park Tczew in Warsaw, Krakow and Tricity.
The main logistics properties were developed between 2017 and 2020.
The portfolio was acquired in stages starting in 2019 with the acquisition of its end asset, the 21,500 m2 C building of Hillwood Marki Logistics Park, which will close this month, the manager said.
